Squish has been ‘Carbon Neutral’ since our first day as a juice business. Our production facility in Italy is creating a surplus of energy from a huge solar installation. This is coupled with the energy produced from using our juice byproduct for anaerobic digestion.
Our Carbon Neutral certification provided by ClimatePartner is the Gold Standard and protects 81,000m2 of pristine rainforest in Brazil.

While using High Pressure Processing (HPP) helps to reduce product spoilage, it also requires we use flexible containers, a.k.a. plastic. With CleanHub we’re supporting the removal of over 50,000kg of plastic waste before it enters the ocean in Indonesia. Founders Dan Harrison and Rob Simpson enjoyed a few surf trips in Bali 20 years ago so it seemed a great area of the world for us to help preserve.

Our finished product using HPP helps in reducing most of clients’ juice wastage to zero. In production, all the peel, skin and dry fruit pomace from juicing are fed into an anaerobic digestion plant. This process turns juicing byproduct into natural gas and mineral rich compost which goes back on to the fields – a great example of a cyclical economy.
